I Can No Longer Deny Myself

Meditación con Mataji Shaktiananda

Seek to let your breath define you, achieve it.
Become conscious, patient with yourself
and extend yourself in serenity.

Observe your thoughts, let them be,
let them flow with confidence, without fearing you.
Let them pass, neither inhibit nor detain them,
let them cross over you, until they themselves know
of what your feelings are about, your disposition, what you want.

The achievement would be that your mind becomes calm,
and that it feels attended to.
It is not so easy to contain what it is,
what you demand of it, you attribute to it, you provide it.
Let it know that the breath dissipates,
let that management of memory that it does
be dignified, noble, given that you are now engaged in the task that is,
and let it not pressure.

Observe your capacity for stillness,
the pleasure that it gives to play like this, with your attention,
to know how to contain yourself and manage your breath consciously.
With full enjoyment, because if you feel tension, breathe more,
focus on the pain, the anguish,
even the hidden memory.

My breath is everything,
it is my great provider of what I am
and of the divine breath that exists.
It is my very life.
My breath is everything and it nourishes my entire Being,
for that I must know what I nourish it with,
what I dare to breathe, where, with whom.
I become increasingly conscious,
and I breathe with increasing consciousness.

When I know that I have passed through moments
of uncomfortable retention,
of devastating accelerations,
of depriving myself and even drowning myself,
I insist on giving myself the breath that is,
to know and to be able to breathe in this way, in calmness,
knowing that this is the most nutritious way
to nourish my Being.

I am no longer so hungry or thirsty,
I know how to do what is, knowing who I am.
I remain, enhancing my silence,
valuing my quietude and being moved
by this gesture of love towards myself.

I must no longer torment myself,
I have learned, I have comprehended,
and I am exercising that which my Being is,
accepting where I have established myself,
what I live today, the present that is,
and all that occurs.

I let my silence speak to me.
I no longer fear what my silence is,
and I feel it, I perceive it to be committed,
to detaining that tumult to which I submit myself,
so unconsciously.
That clamors, demands, shouts, yells,
insults and attacks itself, for having ignored what it is.

I can no longer deny myself or ignore anything,
everything is so exposed.
How can I not value what I attain?

I attain my own breath,
all that I contain
and that I am capable of expressing,
just as that which I want to be and do,
from this sentiment, so human,
with which I am compelled, likewise,
to reach every human.

My silence with love,
with respect, with trust, with truth.
I know that I will know how to sustain myself, to not give in,
to express myself simply as I am.

What is happening in this world?
Who are we in this world?
What do we want in this world?
What do we want to attain?
If we are the Being.

Breathe deeply
containing what you are,
seeking to decipher yourself more and more each time,
attending to yourself as you should and above all,
loving yourself as you want.
You have to want that.

Breathe deeply, with gratitude,
for which you propose more to yourself each time.
Be faithful to yourself. Breathe.
