Remain attentive to your breathing,
to how consciously you do it.
Let each breath be produced, felt,
and may precisely what it produces for you be calm,
so that you can direct your gaze inward,
and you can find yourself there,
in that immensity,
so that from you calm you’re able to encounter yourself,
from what the breath is.
The breath itself quiets you
and goes on stabilizing your mind.
It’s not that it reduces it any way,
it is amplified from each mental pulse,
from what occurs there, that neuronal mobilization.
Everything goes on being quieted,
your eyes become still, your tongue as well,
and it is quietude although nothing ceases;
everything continues operating there,
within you, in the midst of you.
You go on producing, likewise, plenitude,
a satisfaction so subtle, without exaltation,
without any emotion, beyond this withdrawal,
this interiority, and thoughts themselves are modulated,
they think of you as you are there, as you are,
they offer themselves to you and even surrender to you, for you.
They don’t feel imprisoned or under pressure,
nor harsh demands, to the contrary,
they surrender to the Being that you are.
They know who you are.
And your breathing slight, so intimate, so serene,
is a communion between the breath, thought,
and your most elevated feeling.
Not a single sense is present;
the feeling is of the soul,
which needs no sense,
beyond that subtle nourishment that your breath is,
so conscious as it is, so willing, so exact.
Even the thoughts are regulated by your soul,
calmly, without tension, startling or anxiousness.
It wants to be like this, in quietude, in silence.
It is a state, and you remain there.
Equally, it is an instance created by you.
How much space without any time!
And the breath from which you nourish yourself,
and the soul in joy, even if you harbor sorrow,
even if pain tears you apart, even if you feel like dying.
The soul resists without resenting
because it is subject to what the Being is,
more than to this, to what you believe you are,
to what you believe yourself to suffer, to endure.
See for yourself.
You inhabit another reality, you are there,
although you still play at this irreality
and you conform and even act,
above all so that others believe the same.
The breath is suspended, unnecessary.
The soul doesn’t breathe.
Sustain yourself.
How long will fear and its misery endure?
Neither lend yourself nor yield.
Let the rest be confused, not you.
Trust, because in each attainment you are more,
you express yourself more, you know yourself more,
you permit yourself the exactitude, the equilibrium, the temperance.
Expand the breath.
And what exists? Who?
And knowing well that everything and everyone, be contented.
You are in the world, with its atrocities,
that you contemplate, that move you,
and you know well that there is so much to do,
so much to love.
So breathe, because this life is and you live it
as you want and as it is,
attentive to yourself, respecting every being,
avoiding falling and acting in emptiness,
assisting yourself with light and even calling out as well,
for the existence of more consciousness in light,
greater force, more goodness.
You breathe more and express a sentiment from the soul,
for you and for everyone,
and you produce light from what your love is.
It is because you say so,
it is because of what you are and what you will do.
Propose to yourself always, do, combine action, love more.
