You Exist to Know What You Should Do

Meditation with Mataji Shaktiananda

31·05·2023

The breath that always reaches you.
Do it consciously, let it offer you leveling, stability, trust.
How are you not going to trust in your breath?
How is it not going to reach you? Whoever you are and whatever you are living.

For this, breathe with all of your trust,
with all of your Being within your reach and with that which exists.

And you will be fine.
Whatever you feel, whatever happens, you will be fine.

Permit yourself a healthy rhythm,
in which you do not permit anguish, fear, distrust.
Do not make great requirements of yourself, nor ask for nor praise anything.

Before all that exists, that you know or you do not,
What else would there be? What more would you want?
It is when you must reduce in goodness what you know you contain,
to what you have come to, to what exists in you.
And it is that you exist, and it could not seem little to you.                                                  Breathe that, breathe your existence.
And it is when you know that you live,
irremediably, you live; comfortably, you live.
You live and you feel that.

And it is that you would be here only to feel.
Feel what?
How life feels.
What have you done to know how to feel?
Is it perhaps that it is learned?

How much have you learned?
Do you know what or who could teach you?
No one else but you, no one else but you, no one else but you.

You will say: What do I know?
Does it seem to you that this entire structure,
considered in a system, might not know?
What does this entire system, that you configure and that configures you, contain?           What does it hold?
Absolutely everything.
All that exists and, if you push yourself a little, you could feel it.
There would be nothing of that which exists, that does not exist in you.
Breathe that.

There would be nothing of that which exists, that does not exist in you.
So then, how would you learn to feel it?
And it is when you open yourself, you feel that, the All itself.
And, knowing yourself in this way, you dare to learn from yourself.

You will say, how do I assimilate myself in my dual condition?
How do I distinguish? How do I choose? How do I convince myself?
How do I act with that condition?
Duality.
And you go on exploring yourself, you get to know yourself, like this,
breath by breath, breath by breath.
You go on detecting yourself.

It is what would serve you most: to know yourself.
So that, from you, in you and for you, you do what you should.
How do you know what you should do?
That is why you exist, to know what you should do,
even if you occupy yourself, even if you deny yourself, even if you hide yourself,
you exist to know what you should do.

If it were not so, what would you be doing?
What would you be existing for?
There exists one for whom it is convenient that you do not know,
that you do not do what you should.
That would be your other part.
The one that Is, knows.
The one that Is, does what it should.
The one that Is, Is.

Breathe because breathing like this is what causes you to empower
the part that Is and extinguish the other,
the one that believes she doesn’t know anything.

Perceive your breath,
look at how it knows, how it makes you remain in that, your state
and it knows how to be attentive, listening to you.
And, in some way it determines, it wills toward that which Is.

Gratify yourself breathing in this way, so conscious of yourself,
knowing how to listen to yourself in this, your life, in which you exist.
Always refer yourself to the luminous program of your system,
so that you always know what you came to do.
In principle, to be you, nothing more.
Form yourself in light, dispense with your duality,
choose goodness, do good.

Breathe deeply with firmness.
Breathe freely, consciously free.
You are, and you are present where it is, fully existing and that is marvelous.
Exquisitely marvelous.

Breathe in gratitude.
Trust always.
Be more you.
