Breathe serenely, procure it for yourself.
You will ask, “How? Is serenity something you can breathe?”
And you know well that it isn’t, which is why you settle here,
locating it within yourself, not even seeking it.
You know what you contain,
and that is why you try to placate your inquietude.
So, breathe attending to yourself, observing yourself well,
perceiving what you feel, opening yourself up to your space.
And the first step is to open yourself to your intention, to know how to remain in you,
to resist your tensions and, likewise, to placate them.
Everything that is expressed within you, from your breath,
what you think, what you take in, discard,
what sustains you and even what tries to bring you down. That is why every breath counts,
from your firmest intention to allow yourself to be you,
to be with yourself, to offer yourself stillness.
And even though it may seem that you stop,
you continue, you move forward,
in a world like this, where epithets
about every human condition abound and are redundant.
Recognize and accept your condition:
you live, you attend to yourself, you respect yourself,
and the breath accompanies you and defines you.
Let it define you without qualifying you, without labeling you,
without it breaking any of your sparks,
and do not even occupy your mind with labeling yourself.
Today, when nothing and no one
wants to do without a title,
of an assimilation, of a belonging, of a collective.
Today, when there are calls for unity
to establish trenches and to affect,
to attack, to fight, to denounce, to appeal.
And your breath intact, defining you,
neither wanting to describe you, nor narrate you, nor identify you.
There is such despair, so many fears.
Do not affiliate yourself,
resolve to be with and from the principle that created you.
Breathe, because your principle is a quality
of the system from which you have made yourself.
Truly breathe.
We have mutated so much, basically by resisting.
But today you know, today you feel, that there is no more clinging.
You have already fought, you have struggled, you have waged war,
you have succumbed and you have risen.
And today, when you see all this
and the idea of defeating yourself persists, you breathe the same,
with a victory followed by what your soul has been,
and more than certain because of how you feel today.
Tell me, are you going to surrender your soul?
Are you going to delay any longer? Are you going to choose the hidden?
Are you going to relapse? Are you going to feed the shadow? Are you going to deceive yourself?
Let go of all that and dare toward more.
Let go of all those who do not recognize themselves and do not recognize you,
without waging war against them, without even hurting them.
Open yourself up, recognize yourself more, relate yourself in light.
Do not respond to campaigns,
truly love yourself—not as they tell you to—,
nurture your purpose and keep breathing like this,
in silence, fully.
Let them shout, let them hide,
let them offend, let them disrespect.
Don’t be afraid, sooner or later they will be silent.
Earn more silence, gain more truth, and do not expose it.
Trust yourself more and more,
in that breath that encourages you so much,
that leads you to you, because it knows itself within you.
Live today in this very world,
the one you now recognize, the one you now love,
and the one you now know what you have to do about,
being just as you are, and becoming more and more so.
Never abandon your feelings, your Being, what you are.
Never forget what you came here to do and be.
Do not renounce your purest truth,
do not surrender your soul or your spirit.
Do not condition yourself any longer, nor encourage your pain,
your resentment, your revenge.
Placate all of that, liberate your truth, be.
Breathe deeply,
breathe consciously, breathe strongly,
knowing that you are here today.
Bring joy to the world with who you are.
Bring joy to your loved ones, by being as you are.
Be joyful.
Only then will you have triumphed.
Breathe more, thank yourself.
