One who knows how to breathe, loves

Meditación con Mataji Shaktiananda

20·08·2025

Give yourself all of your attention
and deeply observe yourself.
Review your interior, your mood,
your feeling, and your will.

Are you inspired to meditate?
Do you feel your meditation?
Do you want to? Are you compelled?
From where do you avail yourself?
What do you believe yourself to need?
Do you seek something? Do you trust in yourself?
Do you love your breath?

Avail yourself from there, loving your breath.
Perceive, because something else occurs.
Establishing the consciousness there,
in that necessity, that capacity,
that desire to want to love yourself,
offers so much.

Perceive how you produce your serenity,
how you go on attaining it, how you regulate,
how you mediate between your own tensions.
Your own breath dispenses you love, trust in that.

Continue observing yourself.
How is your tranquility?
How is it expressed?

Move through yourself and enjoy that quietude, it is your achievement.
How you are capable of manifesting yourself like this,
from what your will is, to remain there,
knowing all that you move.
How the consciousness arranges and shifts,
how from here, you situate yourself in another space
of your own consciousness.
How you have learned to work your mind,
and without great control or governance, it yields,
it awaits this and becomes serene,
it respects your quietude and quiets itself.

You are present,
you inhabit all of this present,
and everything exists, you exist there,
and you breathe presently with serenity.

In what present today, does this quietude dwell?
Just imagine
those who neither have nor contain this possibility.
Just simply remember something
of what you know is happening in this present.
Just simply imagine
those who not even by wanting it, have serenity.
Breathe that.

What do you believe you achieve?
And consider well:
There exists a Consciousness that inhabits everyone,
that recognizes and loves everyone,
even if you don’t know it, even if you don’t want it,
and even if for that very reason you fear.

But you, no longer.
For this reason, you heal, you prepare yourself like this,
you even open yourself like this, in your pure consciousness,
attending to yourself and exerting yourself so much,
breathing for that which the consciousness is,
for you, for everything.

And you risk your mind,
worked as it is, for what?
So that whatever love is, may be.
So that whatever the force is, may be.
So that whatever the light is, may be.

You breath attentive, faithfully intimate,
rejoicing in its love,
and as it should be: willing for everything.

You sustain your breath, breathing ceases,
the mind expanded and the light reflected.
And the love…dispersed, made silence.

In a world such as this in which everyone speaks,
may your silence be that love,
wisely elaborated,
humbly manifested
and perfectly pure.
This is how you work, this is how you want it, this is what you achieve.
For this reason you should trust without holding back.
One who knows how to breathe, loves.

Ecstasiate yourself, do not fear.
There where you are, reverence yourself in gratitude
and do not give up or cease to be you,
more so, when you have reached love.

Breathe deeply and draw near once again
to all this that you are,
that lives today and that you now know,
will never die again.
You are consciousness, divine consciousness.
