Choose to Breathe for Your Life

Attend to your breathing, center yourself there and observe yourself.
Go on perceiving how you’re doing,
how you establish yourself physically,
how you accept and how your body accepts you,
if there is tension, if there is placidity, if you adjust yourself.

Let the breath accompany you,
let it go on alleviating you, quieting, calming,
and, what’s more, stilling your mind,
permitting you to receive yourself,
because in reality, what you are doing is giving to yourself.

Give to yourself.
Give yourself the breath, give yourself the calm,
give yourself the attention,
just as you give yourself love.
This is an act of love,
of serene love, of constant love.
Breathing like this, consciously,
seeking nothing.
Enjoy, and let that very enjoyment be conscious.

You go on reserving your breaths,
keeping their rhythm,
let them do their work on your interior,
let them nourish your mind,
let each breath know to be in your chest,
and create a force of love toward you.

From there you begin to expand yourself,
and become moved, to not be indifferent,
to believe in life, to confront realities,
and to know what exists,
all that is produced, all that we do.

And the breathing, firm breath.

So many lives, so many souls,
in so many spaces, making life.
And you breathe for your life.
Breathe for your life;
you have to breathe for your life.

It is that there exist so many ways of living,
by choice, by pressure, by tension, by freedom.
And what does one choose? What does one choose?
Because you well know that the choice of many
is to breathe misery, apathy, confrontation,
war, extortion, maneuvers, manipulation,
lies, disgrace.
What do you choose?

Breathe for your life,
for what your life is,
for what you have known to do with it.
Consider yourself, take stock and perceive yourself.
What is your state today?
How do you maintain yourself?
How do you express your truth?
What do you aspire to?
And your breath will tell you; it will tell you, it will tell you.

How is that chest doing?
How ardent is it?
How enlarged is it?
How firm?
And there you are present, there you are,
there you recognize yourself, there you feel.
What do you feel? What do you feel?
Can you dare yourself to feel?
Whatever it is that you feel, release it.
Be it pain, fear, love, release it.

Sustain yourself there, no longer feeling,
there is no reason to, ecstasiate yourself, suspend yourself, non-breath.
Hold on, pronounce silence
and produce the act: Give and receive.
Experience the ardor that is love, our love.

Nothing exists,
and this, your act, is the closest thing,
perceive that; it is marvelous.
It makes one want to remain there, to be without returning.

So then, you breathe deeply once again.
Breathe for your life, in your life, being life.
You breathe deeply and you thank yourself,
and you preserve, you hold on to, your act of love, your feeling,
and you promise yourself to continue always,
being your truth, being in your love,
generating light, daring to be.
There is nothing more, and that is the All.
It is everything, you are everything.
You are everything. Everything.
