You Must Carry Out and Be the Law

Meditación con Mataji Shaktiananda

Breathe as you feel, want, and need.

Do not think about anything that inhibits or regulates you;
rather, be free from so many thoughts,
burdens, and even feelings that seek to cause you concern.
In this moment, concern yourself with you,
of what you know so well today: breathing for yourself,
in yourself, by yourself.

Inhaling just enough, holding just enough, exhaling just enough.
Do not look for a pattern or model, much less rigor;
nor do it out of habit.
Let each breath be taken fully,
with pure consciousness.

The healthiest thing would be for you to breathe,
to do it out of love, because you love yourself,
because perhaps without approving of everything in your life, you accept,
knowing that you are immersed in your task:
to be and do more, understanding that
your strongest connection is this breathing.

And even if you still ask yourself:
To what or to whom am I connecting?
It is to you, it is with you.
And if you say, “Whatever, whoever I am today,
I do not like it, it doesn’t satisfy me,”
do not be afraid of that,
that is precisely why you should meditate.

You know very well that it is about a system
to which you once decided to connect,
and you accepted that, as well as to comprehending
that everything operates according to Law.
Everything is Law, so breathe firmly,
because even if you don’t believe it,
your system decided, accepted to breathe in Law.

Are you breathing in Law?
Are you applying the Law of Love to yourself?
Let your breath tell you,
especially if it translates into encouragement, into calm.

You should ask yourself
what your system is up to,
how you feel and resent everything that you see,
that you know happens, also knowing
that it seems as if nothing conforms
to any Law.
And you become tense, you feel uncomfortable, and no one blames you.

When in the midst of all this you become frightened,
and no matter how much you ask, question, and implore,
what ends up existing is meaninglessness.

It is for this reason that you must breathe,
seeking harmony with your essence, your system;
and without judgment, not falling into what this debacle is,
because it is also Law, entropic Law.
It is about the uncontainable chaos,
the resistances, the tension itself, almost unbearable.
The mechanisms created,
the excessive resources, and what’s more:
the generalized disorder.

And you breathe because you know,
not only what happened, is happening, and will happen.
And you would fail, your system would fail if you fear,
you would even fail yourself.

How many forms of destruction!
How many Laws broken!
How much unconsciousness!
How many accusations and attacks!
In the name of what law?

Your breath serene, immersed in yourself.

It is not about you believing in any Law,
you must carry it out, you must be it,
without so much self-questioning.
You, who even if you deny it,
are in a state of achievement.

You, who have known how to create your own reality.
You, who live today.
You, who breathe today.

Why then allow
anyone, anyone else, to deny and disown you,
presuming from their own consciousness?
Breathe, value yourself.
Do not expect that from anyone, do it yourself, value yourself,
because your breath gives worth and meaning
to the Law that you are; even more so if you already hold on to
a principle of love and act accordingly,
as a consequence of that.

And your breath is serene.

Understand well:
as Law, equally, this has spiraled out of control.

As Law, equally, it is being destroyed.
And because of the Law that is, you must transform yourself
into what you truly are.
You know your origin, you know yourself to be in Law,
that Law exists and remains within you and for you,
and it is to emerge in light and love from this chaos.

Breathe trusting in yourself,
promising yourself not to respond
to those who ignore themselves, dare to align more fully,
respond to your Being.

Be the goodness, be the silence,
do not accept aggression,
even if it is fear itself.
Become strong, only project light.
The Being knows and you are the Being.
