The Necessity Is Reconciliation

Meditation with Mataji Shaktiananda

02·02·2022

Simply attend to your breath.
Make your attention be there,
in your desire to breathe, in the enjoyment.
And, in that freedom.
What could keep you from it? Or who?
So then base that state, on that intention,
knowing and wanting to breathe with freedom.
Review the inner mechanism and alleviate yourself.

Each breath implies so much.
And you do it, as if nothing. That is what freedom consists of.
You take and you let go.
You take and you release.

In this case, you take, and you give your breath of freedom.
You will say, to whom?
Who is in need of my breathing?
The Consciousness.

So, breathe until you can
perceive this conscious manner.
How it is that you nourish yourself,
what it is that really nourishes you.

What is it that you need most? For what?
For this stabilization, this permanence.

Breath, because you are here.
Breathe because you want to be.
Even more so, breathe because you know something of yourself.
Make all that configures you,
receive, receive you, knowing that you are you,
although you still do not fully know,
if it is that you are.

Breathe, perceive, respond.
Because what you seek is, to reconcile.
If it is that perhaps you seek something.

It is that we are inhabited by so many of our own forces.
And it is that, some are tensions,
that, equally, are manifestations.
You have to open yourself, with a genuine necessity.
Because, when you open yourself, there you are, before yourself.
With all that you are, with all that you bring,
with all that you believe to have felt.

And, you do not like everything about yourself.
For this reason, the necessity is reconciliation.
And that is breathed, so that it produces something.
The breath produces so much, it leads to so much.
If you are going along well, if you are going along in clarity,
you know, that you are going towards yourself.
To what else would it be? What else is there?
What else needs so much of you?
Or, what would be cruder,

do you believe that something or someone exists,
who believes, in turn, to need you?
Perhaps they would have told you that and, it would not be true.

Breathe.
Certainly, we are in a world
where so many necessities would seem to exist.
So much so that, they do not cease.
It is as if each time,
we believe ourselves to need more,
who knows of what or from whom.

Breathe, needing it. That is indeed a truth.
Breathe your necessity, to empty yourself of others,
acquired, imposed, falsified, invented.
It is most assured that they are the necessities of others.

Breathe and go on sustaining yourself.
Briefly observe that even your need for breath
is so little. It is minute.
You are here, you remain, you are, just barely with that. Barely.
What is most beautiful, all that it produces for you:
quietude, strength, trust, valor,
resistance, commitment, love.
What else?

Convince yourself, stop subsisting, falsifying,
doubting, distrusting, disbelieving.

Courageous creature, Divine breathe, Beloved presence,
retain the breath, have that confidence.
Make it so that you retain all of the breath and, that the breath retains you.
Empty your space, do not occupy it.
Exonerate your mind.

My Being, Being of mine, I Am this, Nothing.
Attain that.

Beloved mind, so vital,
you are in my breath, you are powerful, you are my strength.

Breathe deeply, no longer retaining.
Go on feeling yourself, reestablishing yourself.
Breathe deeply, with real and true breath.
May it be enough for your disposition and your wellbeing.
Breathe in gratitude.
